Da Laggard Speaks

FinaLLy had some rejuvenated energy to jot something down after days of outings, footbaLL and stuff. My bLock Leave from "work" cudn't have come a better time than this .. needed it bad!

Remembered having a Swensen's affair @ PLaza Singapura with Kenneth, Yongren, Leon and May on Saturday evening, which was not to be actuaLLy. InitiaLLy was supposedLy to be juz me and CLement, but our time took itz toLL and he had to trottLe down to deLiver pizzas then. Thus made Last minute invitations but i have to reLi send my deeepest apoLogies to dear bastard, for i missed u out totaLLy. WiLL make u da first in Line for any events next time ehh. Coming back, we took a coupLe of hours on da tabLe taLking about stuff and enjoying our desserts, though itz to be sort of reunion with Leon, my mind was empty, not even my Cookie FreckLe Summit cud set me "wow-ing" over. Having done with Swensen's we made our way down EspLanade for a stroLL meeting up with Guowei and some usuaL photo taking, and da day then came to a cLose.

Da next morning we had a footbaLL match, in which we won 2-1 and i had a goaL. Itz reLi strange i've been grabbing goaLs these days. Lady Luck sure is smiLing on my footbaLL, but why she ain smiLing on other aspects of my Life as weLL has proven to be a BIG question mark. Ain reLi excited about scoring, for each time i scored i had something to dedicate to but not this time, and i wonder if itz aLL worthwhiLe. Empty goaL it is. Had our usuaL swim and Lunch @ Compass Point and some of us headed for another match for our senior team. Kenneth then came and picked us up from where we were and then headed to meet da rest up. But aLas, we got caught in da fucking jam! Watz worst, is dat at 8.30pm when da fireworks were reLeased, we got bLocked by Westin, and when we finaLLy caught a gLimpse of da highLight of our day, it ended. ALL these whiLe pedestrians seemed to move even more smoothLy than da cars.
Lesson Learnt : technoLogy ain everything, sometimes Legs can bring u further and faster. Having difficuLties Locating a parking Lot, we finaLLy decided to meet da rest up @ Lao Pat Sat. It was aLready haLf past 10 when we finaLLy met up and had dinner. WeLL there goes ..
